Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘ Raees’ banned in Chattisgarh .Has issued threat letter to Cinema hall owners.

The film ‘ Raees’ the much acclaimed film by Shah Rukh Khan has not only faced multiple obstacle in its release but the MNS took the presence of Mahira Khan in the film as an offence and called for a blanket ban.


Just when Shah Rukh Khan thought that the film had a clean slate for its release and has cleared the political controversies ,  yet another bolt from the blue is Chattisgarh Shiv Sena head’s threat to the Cinema owners in Chattisgarh not to screen the film ‘ Raees’.


The threat letter is delivered to all exhibitors in Chattisgarh not to screen the film , failing which they will be solely responsible for the consequences.

The letter signed by Rakesh Shinde , Chattisgarh Shiv Sena head dated 5th January 2017,  also states that there would be a ban not only Raees but also the exhibitors will refrain from any ‘deshdrohi’ films.


The MNS Leader has been approached and have tagged the young Aditya Thackeray on Twitter with the hope that the leader will take note of the issue and take necessary action to correct the situation against such illegal acts.
