Amit Sadh was born in New Delhi but was raised in Birmingham and later in New York and the family returned to India.

After he successfully completed his schooling in La Martiniere College in Lucknow he decided to quit studies and pursue his career in acting or sports.  

The 5’9” tall Amit had all that was required to be a star. A well toned body who follows Hindu culture and religion. The actor has a lifestyle that enjoys hobbies such as writing, photography, Kayaking, bike riding and rock climbing and likes solo trips.

His education qualification is only up to 12th Std. 

Amit Sadh has an appealing modest figure and being a fitness specialist he stands out predominantly even in subsidiary roles that he has been offered in Hindi films.

He was nominated for Screen award for Best Supporting Actor and for the Stardust Award for the Best Supporting Actor.

The actor started his career with small screen. His first role was as Aditya in the television serial titled, ‘ Yun Hota Hai Pyar’ after which he went on to star in the series ‘Kohinoor’.   He also participated in reality shows like ‘Big Boss’, ‘Nach Baliye’ and ‘Fear Factor’.

In the year 2010 he got his first break to debut in a horror film titled, ‘Phoonk’ 2’. He got popular for his role as Om Shastri in the film ‘ Kai Po Che’ and earned positive response for his remarkable performance in the film.

Amit Sadh starred in movies such as ‘ Sultan’ , ‘Naam Hai Akira’ Running Shaadi and ‘ Raag Desh.  His most recent film is ‘Sarkar 3’ along with Amitabh Bachchan and Yami Gautam.

His upcoming film is ‘ Shakuntala Devi’ to be released in May 2020 with the lead role portrayed by Vidya Balan for this biographical film directed and written by Anu Menon and is produced by Sony Pictures Network and Vikram Malhotra under his banner Abudantia Entertainment. Amit Sadh is one of the cast for the film.
