This young boy , 5’9” tall is born in half Maharashtrian Half Punjabi family. Hailing from the family where his maternal Grandfather was a classical Maestro Pandit Pandarinath Kolhapure, where one of the streets in Juhu is named after this great musician.
Priyaank Sharma is very fond of animals and particularly dogs and is interested in archery. He is a fine dancer and also a swimmer. A fitness enthusiast with a great body fit to be a hero in a film.
Priyaank or Priyank was born in a family of Actors and was raised in a filmy background with his mother being one of the very famous actress of her times, his uncle Shakti Kapoor also a great actor and his cousin Shraddha Kapoor in the film line as well.
At the age of 14 he was offered a role in a film but it was declined by his family so that he pursues his studies and acquires the required qualifications.
He studied BA English Honors and later since he was interested in joining the Bollywood industry going on the footsteps of his famous mother, he went on to join The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, and also the acting school in London. He also attended the workshop called the Ekjute under the guidance of the able Nadira Babbar.
In 2013 he joined as an assistant to Rajkumar Santoshi for his film ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz.
