Shabbir Ahluwalia did his schooling from St. Xavier’s High School in Vile Parle and completed his graduation in University of Maryland College Park, USA.   His father is a Sikh and mother is Catholic.

Born to a Catholic mother and a Sikh father, his real name is Shabir Sebastian Ahluwalia.

He was keen to become a sportsman or a computer engineer but ended up in entertainment industry.  Loves Cricket and was a part of the Mumbai Hero’s Cricket League.

Shabbir owns a production company called the ‘Flying Turtles’ along with a few friends.

Apart from being a good actor and his interest in acting, Shabbir enjoys spending time with his family and family outings.

Shabbir loves travel and photography and enjoys living in style.

Shabbir Ahluwalia, model turned actor made his debut in Bollywood with the film Shootout at Lokhandwala followed by his second film, Mission Istanbul in 2008. 

He had gained his recognition with the television serial Kahiin to Hoga and KumKum Bhagya in which he portrays the role of Abhishek Prem Mehra on ZEE Television.       Thereafter Shabbir has acted in several television serials, the most popular one as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqueeqat, in 2003, Kahi to Milenge, Kkavyanjai, Kasamh Se, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Kayamath, Laagi Tumse Lagan and many more over the years between 2002 and 2007.     

He had also won the award for the third season Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi and contested in Dhammal Express.   He has been a host for shows like Nach Baliye, Guinness World Records – Abh India Todega and the Dancing Queen.  

The actor and producer got nominated for various awards among which he has won most of them. In 2004 Shabbir won the Indian Telly Awards for Best Actor in the negative role. In 2006 he again won the Indian Television Academy Awards for Best Actor in Supporting Role.  He won Star Parivaar Awards, Zee Gold Awards for being one of the Most Stylish Actors.
