Subodh was born in Pune and he completed his schooling from Nutan Marathi Vidhyalay and later completed his graduation from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce in Pune. He did his MCom and had started a small IT company called the Inika Technologies in Koregaon Park, in Pune.  He later got interested in acting and moved to pursue his career in Marathi films.

He married his childhood sweetheart Manjiri in2001 and the couple has two sons Kanha and Malhar.

Subodh Bhave is a well known name in the Marathi film circle and has some major hits to his credit.. He has acted in over 50 to 60 Marathi films and most of his roles have been that of a hero , a cameo role and light films.    Audience have loved him his various rolls.

He has been applauded by noted professionals in the Marathi Film Industry. His role of Bal Gangadhar Tilak in the film Lokmanya-Ek Yug Purush a biopic on one of the country’s biggest reformers, was much appreciated by the audience and his fans alike.

His role as Balgandharva which was based a film based on the artist Narayanrao Rajhans and the book that was named Gandharva Gatha.   

Subodh Bhave is a very famous Actor, director and producer in Marathi films.  Well known personality for an illustrious career .  He was already a big name at the age of 43.

Subodh Bhave has directed several plays and films in which he has played the main lead as well as supporting roles.   His highest grossing Marathi film was in 2015 based on the play Katyar Kaljat Ghusali wherein he plays the main lead and this film did a box office hit .

Subodh Bhave has been involved in Television and is a very popular star on the small screen as well.   His television serial ‘Tula Pahate Re’ starring Subodh Bhave with Gayatri Datar and Abhidnya Bhave brought a huge success . A film that had a unique story line  but his acting skills were applauded and the audience were glued to the theatre which brought down the television serial trp as people thronged to watch Subodh Bhave in this film.

Subodh Bhave has tried his stint in Hindi films with the film Aiyaa in 2012 and later in Vada Raha Sanam. 

His latest and most recent films were in Marathi called the ‘ Aatpadi Nights’ , ‘Aapa ani Bappa’ , ‘Welcome Home’ , ‘Kahi Kshan Premache’,’ Ek Nirnay – Swatcha Swathasathi’. He got popular for his role in the ‘ Ani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ , a Biopic film.

‘Tee Phularani, ‘Paani’, ‘Ranbhool’, ‘Bharatiya, ‘Touring Talkies’ and many others that he was in the main lead got him lot of appreciation and fans thronged to see his films released.

He is popular as he is a complete family man with a beautiful wife and two boys…
