The budding actor Zaheer was born in an upper class jeweler family and his family were not in the film line. However, his father Iqbal Ratnasi is a very close friend of the Actor Salman Khan so the former actor has been a big influence on Iqbal. He would often visit Salman Khan on his sets and that’s when his interest to join Bollywood happened.
Zaheer is very particular of his fitness and enjoys swimming, marathon running and cycling. His hobbies are work out at the gym, travelling and reading.
He is trained under Salman Khan. The actor has named him ‘ Zahero’
Zaheer started his Bollywood career as an assistant director for the film ‘ Jai Ho’ in 2019. He later made his film debut in Salman Khan’s production, ‘ The Notebook’ , starring opposite yesteryear heroine Nutan’s granddaughter Pranutan. For the role in this film Zaheer worked hard for 6 years to be a gymnast. He also learnt different forms of dance forms under the guidance of Salman Khan.
For his debut in the film Notebook released in 2019, the film is a remake of the 2014 Thai Film, “Teacher’s Diary”.
Both Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan did their debut with this film in the lead roles. The film had received mixed response and did fairly well ok.
