Divyanka Tripathi started her career with her debut in the telefilm for Doordarshan. She had presented a show called Akash Vani. In 2005, she acted in a Star one’s Yeh Dil Chahe More as Payal followed by Viraasat as Melanie in 2006. In August the same year, Divyanka was roped in dual roles of Vidya and Divya for which she had received recognition for the pair. She was onscreen paired with Sharad Malhotra. She had also won many awards for the performance in this show which ran for over three years and ended in 2009. She had participated in Zee TV’s Khana Khazana as a contestant in 2006.

In 2009, Divyanka got an award for Fresh New Face from Indian Telly Awards. She participated in Sahara One’s Reality Show, Jhoom India as a contestant. In 2008 she participated in Imagine TV’s Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan. In 2008 she also did second season of Star Plus Horror Thriller Ssshhhh ….. Phir Koi Hai.. In 2010, Tripathi played the role of Rashmi Sharm, a housewife in a comedy drama Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale on Sab TV. In 2011, Divyanka Tripathi played the lead in SAB TV’s Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story, as Suman. She also participated in Imagine’s TV Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout. Following an episodic appearance in Adaalat She acted in Star Plus Teri Meri Love Stories as Nikita opposite Iqbal Khan.

In 2013, Divyanka portrayed the character of Dr. Ishita Bhalla in Ekta Kapoor’s show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein opposite Karan Patel. In 2014, Divyanka was ranked 23 among the 35th Hottest Actresses in Indian Television by MensXP.com. It was an Indian lifestyle website for Men. In 2017, she went on to become the first Indian television actress to be popular on Forbes Celebrity 100 List which was based on the income and the popularity of the star celebrity ranking to 96th.

In 201y she was in the league of Top 10 television actress list and in 2018 ranked at 3rd Top 10 Popular Actress in Television.

The show premiered in December 2013 and ran successfully for six years until it ended around the end of 2019. Her portrayal of Ishita won many awards and nominations such as Indian Telly Awards for Best Actress in the Lead Role. The Lions Gold Award for the Best Actress in the Lead Role. She received a Shan-E-Bhopal Award. In 2016 she also received the two awards for the Gold Awards for Face of the Year and Best Actress in a Lead Role.

In 2016, Tripathi had participated in Colors Television Sports Reality Show, Box Office Cricket League 2. Later in the same year she made a cameo appearance in the Life Ok’s Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant along with Anita Hassandani, Hina Khan and Karanvir Bohra. In 2017, Divyanka Tripathi participated in Nach Baliye 8 with her husband Vivek Dahiya and both emerged as winners.

Divyanka Tripathi is known for playing double roles of Vidya Pratapsingh and Divya Shukla in Zee Tv’s Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and Dr. Ishita Bhalla in Star Plus’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein both of which earned her the ITA Award for the Best Actress Popular and Best Actress – Jury.

She also participated in the 2021 Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 as a contestant and emerged as the runner up.

She is one of the highest paid television actresses in India. A recipient of several television awards and accolades including three ITA Awards, Nine Indian Telly Awards and seven Gold Awards. Divyanka has also appeared in the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 List since 2017.

In 2020, Divyanka Tripathi won the title of International Iconic Most Popular Face of Indian Television. She was honoured with the Champions of Change in 2021.
