Radhika attended the Delhi Public School on Mathura Road and completed her graduation from Jesus and Mary School in New Delhi and B.com correspondence course from the University of Delhi.
She started dancing from the 8th standard and also learnt Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet and many other dance forms. She has worked as a dance instructor. Apart from dancing she is very fond of cricket
Radhika Madan born in a Punjabi family is from New Delhi. Her father is Sujit Madan is a businessman while her mother Neeru Madan is a painting, an artist. Her nick name is Ishu and Tota. She has one brother who is elder to her and is an Implementation Developer.

Radhika worked as a dance instructor before her debut in the televisions. She started her career by playing the role of Ishani in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi by Ekta Kapoor on the Colours TV. She won the Best Debut Award for her role at the Zee Gold Awards in 2015. She was also a participant in the Colours tV dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhhla Jaa Reloaded.

Her dream was to be a dancing star and had no plans to join the film industry and had enrolled herself at the Dance Company in New York.
A dog lover and passionate about her looks, her talent in dancing and modelling skills attracted film directors to offer her a role in the television serials and later in the films as well.

Radhika Madan’s entry into the Bollywood was her debut in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha for which she was nominated for Best Actress Critics at the 64th Filmfare Awards and also won the Best Female Debut at the 25th Screen Awards .
It is said on the first day of the shoot she ran away from the shooting as she found acting very difficult!!
Her debut in Pataakha was alongside with Sanya Malhotra and was based on the story of two sisters in conflict, Do Behnen by Charan Singh Pathik. Both Sanya and Radhika met the real sisters whose role they were enacting to understand their dialect from Rajasthan. For the role both the girls got trained to milk buffaloes thatch roofs, plaster the walls with cow dung and walk long distances with earthern pots with water on the head and one in their waist. The training was rigorous to fit into the role for which she was also asked to gain 10 kgs weight. Radhika did full justice to her bossy role in the film with the firm dialect and determination to be her best.
Radhika Madan’s next venture was Vasan Bala’s action comedy film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. It was premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2018 where the film won the People’s Chooice Award: Midnight Madness. The film was also later screened at the MIAMI Film Festival in the same year and where the crew received the standing ovation. Madan was busy with her audition for the Laila Majnu for the 2018 film when she heard the script of the film she opted out and decided to get into the Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota for its uniqueness.
Madan performed several action films to familiarize herself with the genre and performed all the stunts herself. During the shooting she also injured and bruised herself during the physical training. She followed the strict diet and the strict routine with exercises. It wasn’t definitely a cake walk for Madan but she was at ease during the entire making of the film.
Pradeep Menon of First post says she is a ‘Delight as Supri’ and it’s her sheer will power and determination that made her work well with her talent in forefront, despite the character was inconsistent and she stood out in the action scenes.
Radhika won her popularity with her soap opera, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi which premiered in 2014 and was aired every Monday to Friday. The television serial was inspired by Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms and the star cast was Shakti Arora in the lead role with her.
