Sargun Mehta

Sargun Mehta made her screen debut in 2009 with the Zee TV drama 12/24 Karol Bagh and on the sets, she met her husband actor Ravi Dubey. Her career gained significant momentum with roles like her titular portrayal in Phulwa between 2011 and 2012. She played a pivotal role of Ganga in Balika Vadhu in 2013-2014 and further cemented her popularity on the small screen.

She is the first runner-up for the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 and hosted the Boogie Woogie Kids Championship.

In 2015 Sargun transitioned from Punjabi film industry with the Blockbuster Angrej. The film was a massive commercial success and it won her the Punjabi Film Award for Best Actress. She soon became one of the highest paid actresses in Punjabi film industry. She delivered hits back-to-back which included the Love Punjab in 2016, Lahoriye in 2017. Both films that earned her the Filmfare Awards for the Best Actress.

Her two other romantic films that were considered to be milestones in Punjabi Cinema are Qismat in 2018 and Qismat 2 in 2021. She had a dramatic performance in Moh in 2022.

Sargun Mehta alongside her husband Ravi Dubey co-founded the Dreamiyata Entertainment. Under this banner they produced successful television shows like Udaariyaan and Swaran Ghar. In 2022, she made her Hindi film debut in the psychological thriller Cuttputli, playing a role of a stern police officer.

In 2025, she continued to expand her empire as a producer and writer while she starred in Major Punjabi productions like Saunkan Saunkanay 2.
