Shivangi Joshi Career

Shivangi Joshi has had a flourishing career in television between 2013 and 2021. She began her career in television with a cameo appearance in the serial Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. Her acting debut was in 2013 with Khelti Hai Zindgai Aankh Micholi, in which she portrayed Trisha. Shivangi is known best for her role as Naira Singhania in the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, a very popular television serial running in several episodes. She is one of the highest-paid actresses on television and is a recipient of several accolades, including the ITA Award and a few other awards.

Shivangi later went on to essay the role of Aayat Haier in Beintehaa and did a brief appearance as Vishy in Bindaas’s Love by Chance. She was also portrayed as Poonam Thakur in the television series, Begusarai, which became the turning point in her career.

Her other portrayals were in Season 4 as Meera in Yeh Hai Aashiqui and then as Jyoti in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. She also had a role as Geetanjali in the short film Love X Society in 2020.

Shivangi has won numerous awards and nominations, including the ITA Award, the Gold Award for Best Actress in Lead role, Iconic Gold Award for Popular Choice, Kalakar Award for Best Actress and a few others.

Between 2021 and 2022, Shivangi appeared as Anandi in Bhujaariya in Colours Television's Balika Vadhu 2 opposite Randeep Rai.

Her other work since 2022 to date is her participation in stunt stunt-based reality show called Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12, which was filmed in Cape Town. She was also a part of the 2023 Jab We Matched as Prachi. She made a brief appearance in Bekaboo.

In July 2023, Shivangi portrayed Aradhana Sahni in Sony Television’s Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. Joshi has been known for her compelling performances and has showcased her versatility as a talented actress. Her on-screen chemistry is tremendous, and every performance has received praise.

In November 2024, Shivangi portrayed Dr. Sanjh Arora in a medical drama called Heart Beats. The show is about a fresh and captivating Take on Medical Student Life. She will also be seen as Bhagyashree in Bade Achhe Lagte Hai – a new episode slated to be aired in 2025.

Besides television, Shivangi has endorsed several popular brands and products like Cadbury, Pepsi, FoxTales and TRESemme Gionee.
