Shreya is a B-Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology , Warangal in Telangana.
Shreya Dhanwanthary was born in a middle class Telugu Family and lived in Delhi initially. She spent most of her childhood in the Middle East and has lived in 17 countries as her father worked in Aviation.
Since an early age of 4 she showed interest in dancing and over her growing years got trained in Bharat Natyam, Kathak, Kuchipidi. After completing her studies, she came back to India.
She completed her engineering.
In 2008 she gave an audition for the Pantaloons Femina Miss India and went on to become the 1st Runner Up. Shreya was also the Miss India 2008 finalist.
She wrote her first novel “Fade to White’ in 2016.
Her hobbies include reading, writing, dancing, debates, photography, swimming and para-sailing.
A fitness freaks she spends a good time with workout at the gym.
Shreya Dhanwanthary joined the Elite, a talent management firm in Delhi to pursue her interest in joining films. She came to Mumbai to pursue her desire to join films and like many other actors she too started her career with modeling for commercials and was a successful. She did ads for many of the top brands like Samsung, Airtel, Liberty Footwear, Pantaloons, Safi, Provogue, Liberty, Bharati Matrimony, Gitanjali Maya Gold Jewellery, D’damas Jewellery, Jashn Sarees, and few others.
Soon after she was offered a role in the Telugu film Sneha Geetham. She made her debut in Bollywood with the film, Why Cheat India opposite Emraan Hashmi.
She became famous for her role in ‘Devanshi Tailor’ in the web series in ‘The Reunion’ in 2018.
Shreya Dhandwanthary is known for her roles in the films Ladies Room in 2016 and The Family Man in 2019.
