The critically acclaimed movie saw her fetching the Best Female Debut Award in the Zee Cine Awards of 2013. She was then roped in by her husband to be Mohit Suri for the suspense thriller flick Zeher. Udita Goswami made much news with the movie by appearing in highly exposing posters for the movie and caught Bollywood off guard. The movie which also featured Shreyas Talpade narrated the story of girl who discovers the adverse consequences of falling for the wrong man and had Udita Goswami sweeping away the honours getting well under the skin of the character. The movie saw her adding to her repute of only being part of quirky, over the top thrillers.
