Sunil Dutt entered her life during the sets of the film, ‘Mother India’ in 1957 when she was heartbroken and her personal life was a turmoil.
2. Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu
The legendary Bollywood couple who paired in many films like Bairaag, Gopi, Duniya, Sagina. At that time Saira Banu was only 22 while Dilip Kumar was 44. She was in love with him from the age of 12. Dilip Kumar is said to have proposed to her by the sea. Though she was in love with him, she had not accepted the proposal instantly, but ultimately, they got married in 1966.
3. Dharmendra and Hema Malini
Their love story was considered as popular as one of their masala films. They fell in love on the sets of ‘Tum Haseen Main Jawan’. Dharmendra, a much-married man with two sons, fell head over heels in love with the South Indian Actress. The actor converted himself to Islam and tied the knot with Hema Malini, his lady love, on August 21st, 1979.
4. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan
Their love story started on the sets of their film ‘Zanjeer’. Jaya was already a well-known name in the film industry while Amitabh Bachchan was still struggling and finding his foothold in the Hindi cinema and his success was attributed to the film becoming a super hit and thereafter, he became one of the most successful actors of that era. Met on the sets of the film, ‘Sangam’. His parents had proposed to Babita and the couple were not in love. It was more of an arranged marriage.
