The audience favourite movie Mohabbatein which was released in the year 2000 was one of the blockbuster movies that year. Mohabbatein marked the very first collaboration between superstars of two generations Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. This multi-starrer movie was directed by Aditya Chopra. Storyline Of Mohabbatein:
Talking about its story, Narayan is a strict principal of Gurukul who does not believe in love and forbids his students to follow their hearts. However, things change when a music teacher named Raj Aryan Malhotra comes to Gurukul and challenges Narayan that he will change the way Gurukul works. This music teacher happens to be the one whom Narayan's late daughter loved. The story moves forward with Raj changing Narayan’s perspective about love.
The movie was in theatres for more than 175 days and became a silver jubilee. The movie was a major commercial success at the box office and received numerous awards and nominations. Mohabbatein received worldwide praise upon release, especially for Bachchan and Khan's performances.
