Parvarish was directed by Manmohan Desai and this film’s starcast were Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Shabana Azmi, Neetu Singh, Amjad Khan and Kader Khan. Shammi Kapoor will also be seen in this film. The music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics were by Majrooh Sultanpuri.
This crime drama film is produced by A.A. Nadiadwala and the screenplay is by Prayagraj and dialogues are written by Kader Khan. DSP Rameshwar Singh that’s Shammi Kapoor captures Daku Mangal Singh that is Amjad Khan’s son and his wife is about to give birth and dies in child birth. DSP Seeing the helpless baby brings him and decides to raise him along with his son Kishen.essayed by Vinod Khanna He names Mangal’s son as Amit (Amitabh Bachchan). 14 years in jail, Daku Mangal Singh is released and he knows that his son is being raised by the DSP. Amit who is actually Daku’s son is a well behaved well brought up man while Kishen who is the DSP’s son who pretends to be teaching the blind children is actually dealing with smugglers. Both of them grow up and fall in love with the two street side girls who do pickpocketing for a living.
When Daku Mangal Singh learns his son is being raised by his enemy the DSP, he starts influencing Kishen who he thinks is his son. With the mistaken identity there is a lot of confusion, lot of fight scenes, romancing their lovers, essayed by Shabana Azmi and Neetu Singh. The film ends with both the men, who come together to fight the Daku Mangal Singh. The story goes as no matter who you are born to , raising the right way helps a person come up in the right way and lead a noble life. Amit who is the daku’s son is raised by the noble DSP turns out to be a very good human being while Kishen who is actuallyl the DSP’s son has wicked ways but turns a new leaf at the end.
