Ayesha Jhulka has been refusing lot of offers coming her way for films and for the television.

The actress set her foot in the film industry by her role as a child artist in the year 1983 for the film Kaise Kaise Log.  A movie buff since childhood, becoming an actress was her dream come true. 

Being from an Air Force background she grew up liberal and was introduced to films from an young age.

The film that is close to her heart is Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar that was released 27 years ago in 1992. She was excited she was featured opposite the superstar Aamir Khan.

She married Sameer Vashi a businessman and is happily settled in her marriage.

1994, Jai Kishen was released and in 1996 she also starred in Masoom.  She also appeared in films like Akele Hum Akele Tum with Aamir Khan, Chachi 420 with Kamal Haasan. She starred opposite Mithun Chakraborty and Akshay Kumar in some notable films.  In 2006 she starred in Umrao Jaan , A way of Life in 2010 and in 2018 she starred in Genius an action thriller film with which she did her come back in Bollywood but again took a back seat in her film career.

The actress also predominantly in Odia, Kannada and Telugu films besides Hindi films. She featured in about 70 films in all and is doing her come back after decades. An actress who survived in the entertainment industry on her terms and conditions and did not have to struggle for work.
