In the year 2005, he appeared in one of the episodes in a Guest appearance as Sudhanshu in the television serial, 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' which was aired on Star One an episode directed by Deven Bhojani. Parvin directed his first film 'Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande' which was released on 19th August 2011. For this film he won the Bronze Palm Award at the 2011 Mexico International Film Festival and also the Silver Remi Award at the Worldfest Houston in the same year. The film was further selected for the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India held in Goa between 23rd November and 3rd December 2011. His most recent and the latest is the film 'Mirror Game' in which Parvin plays the lead role of a professor of psychology, co-starring Pooja Batra and Omi Vaidya. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago which took the internet by storm. The story revolves around the life of Parvin Dabas as the professor of psychology who is based in New Jersey and faces complications in his personal and professional life. The film has been shot completely in USA . Dabas was also seen in a brief role in Karan Johar's film, ' My Name is Khan' but he is best known and remembered for his role as Chironjilal Khosla act in Dibakar Banerjee's 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. Besides Hindi, Parvin Dabas has also acted in films in Malayalam, Kannada and English. He has been a part of the television industry as well. In 2014 he was in the sequel film Ragini MMS 2. Juggling between many of the roles that he has played till date , that of model turned actor , he donned on the director's cap for his film Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande as an actor-producer-director-writer , Parvin has been quite under control of things .
