Parvin Dabas the handsome and much sought after personality of the Bollywood industry in an actor model and a director belonging to a Jat family of Dabas gotra . His family hails from Kanjhawala , outer Delhi . Parvin did his schooling from Modern School at Vasant Vihar in New Delhi and then completed his graduation in Hans Raj College , Delhi University.

He is married to the pretty Preeti Jhangiani who is an actress as well and has over 30 films to her credit . The couple has one son.

Parvin Dabas made his Bollywood debut in the year 1999 with the film 'Dillagi' followed by a Malayalam film, 'Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu' in which he has played a pivotal role alongside of Antara Mali. However he rose to stardom with Mira Nair's film, ' Monsoon Wedding in which she launched his career and he went on to be in the limelight . Since then he worked in over 10 Bollywood films. Parvin starred in films such as 'The Hero:Love Story of a Spy, 'Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara' and 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' for which he has won accolades. In the year 2005, he appeared in one of the episodes in a Guest appearance as Sudhanshu in the television serial, 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' which was aired on Star One an episode directed by Deven Bhojani. Parvin directed his first film 'Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande' which was released on 19th August 2011. For this film he won the Bronze Palm Award at the 2011 Mexico International Film Festival and also the Silver Remi Award at the Worldfest Houston in the same year. The film was further selected for the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India held in Goa between 23rd November and 3rd December 2011. His most recent and the latest is the film 'Mirror Game' in which Parvin plays the lead role of a professor of psychology, co-starring Pooja Batra and Omi Vaidya. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago which took the internet by storm. The story revolves around the life of Parvin Dabas as the professor of psychology who is based in New Jersey and faces complications in his personal and professional life. The film has been shot completely in USA . Dabas was also seen in a brief role in Karan Johar's film, ' My Name is Khan' but he is best known and remembered for his role as Chironjilal Khosla act in Dibakar Banerjee's 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. Besides Hindi, Parvin Dabas has also acted in films in Malayalam, Kannada and English. He has been a part of the television industry as well. Some of his films in Hindi were Tapish in 2000, Monsoon Wedding in 2001, The Hero: Love story of a Spy in 2003, Muskaan in 2004, Yehi Hai Zindagi, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara and Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye in 2005, The Memsahib in 2006, Jalpari in 2012. He was a part of the English films like the Perfect Husband in 2003, Wrong Number in the same year followed by Kanchana Ganga in Kannada in 2004. In 2006 he played a role in an English television series called 'The Curse of King Tut's Tomb'. He was also a part of the films like The World unseen in English and in 2008 he acted in the film Sirf. In 2014 he was in the sequel film Ragini MMS 2. Juggling between many of the roles that he has played till date , that of model turned actor , he donned on the director's cap for his film Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande as an actor-producer-director-writer , Parvin has been quite under control of things . The film was launched by his wife and him together.
