When she was 4 years old she acted in an Advertisement. When she was only nine years her parents

got divorced.

As a teenager she was very chubby as she had an Ovarian Cyst She has studied Law , Political Science at the prestigious Columbia University.  She completed her graduation in 2016 and following her return to India she started grooming herself to join the film industry.

Her turning point was when she got the role in her first film that compelled her to lose weight and be disciplined and motivated in life to take on the role of being the debut star for the film.

Always inspired by actress Aishwarya Rai during her show in Chicago.   Sara Ali Khan also has imbibed the star attributes from her step mother Kareena Kapoor with whom she shares a healthy relationship. 

Sara Ali Khan started her career in the Bollywood with her debut in 2018 with Sushant Singh Rajput in the film ‘Kedarnath’, directed by Abhishek Kapoor,  which released after a lot of controversies. In the film, she plays the role of a Hindu girl who falls in love with a Muslim porter. She improved her vocabulary in Hindi for this film.  Kedarnath grossed at 966 million USD$ worldwide.  Though the film received a lot of mixed reviews in general, Sara Ali received lot of praises for her role giving Sara her due credit for her performance.

Her second release was the film ‘Simmba’ with one of the top actors of the Bollywood Industry, Ranveer Singh in which she did very well and got further noticed for her for her breathtakingly beauty. The film grossed at 56 million USD$ and emerged as the third highest grossing film in the year 2018. 

It is said that Sara had begun her shooting for ‘Simmba’ during the making of the film ‘ Kedarnath’ which led to some misunderstanding between the director Abhishek Kapoor and Sara, which was later resolved when she was able to divide time between both the films to complete it.

She has also acted in the film ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’.  Her forthcoming romantic film by Imtiaz Ali along with Kartik Aaryan is yet an untitled film and little is known at the moment about the new release .
