Shahid Kapoor made his film debut in 2003 in a leading role with Amrita Rao for the film Ishq Vishq a, sleeper hit that it was he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Following his debut, Shahid was a featured in few more films like Fida in 2004 featuring him as a love-struck student opposite Kareena Kapoor.
