Tara Sutaria is a trained dancer in Classical Ballet, Modern Dance and Latin American Dance at the School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance, Royal Academy of Dance in United Kingdom and at the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, United Kingdom.   

She is also a professional singer since the age of seven and has sung in several operas and singing competition.

Tara Sutaria a singer and dancer and an actress. She started her career as a video jockey in 2010 with Disney India’s Big Bada Boom and received recognition in the Disney India Sitcoms.

 A lover of pets, Tara loves singing, dancing, travelling and sketching.

She is often called considered as the Indian Miley Cyrus.

In 2015 Tara was invited to be a part of the TEDx in Mumbai wherein she performed on The Phantom of the Opera’s Think of Me and on American singer Whitney Houston’s I will always love you. 

She has also featured in many ad films and people remember for her ad in Hamdard Safi.

Tara has endorsed brands like Jet Gems and Swarovski.

Tara makes her film debut in 2019 with the film Student of the Year 2, produced by Karan Johar, along with co-stars Tiger Shroff and Ananya Pandey, followed by the film Marjaavaan, both which are slated for its release in 2019.

She is not new in Bollywood as Tara has lent her voice for films like Taare Zameen Par in 2007, Guzaarish in 2010 and made her television debut in the show, “The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir” and “Oye Jassie”.

Tara who started recording music in India and abroad for films, advertisement and for her own original work. Her song, ‘Slippin through my fingers’ is a part of the film Blame by Bharat Dhabholkar for Ashwin Gidwani Production.

She played the lead role in Raell Padamsee’s production of the musical genre as Sandy’s role.

Tara has performed solo concerts in London, Tokyo Lavasa and Mumbai. She was also a part of the Louiz Banks, Mikey McCleary and was the soloist for the Stop-Gaps Choral Ensemble. She has been singing at the NCPA for over a decade now.  Tara was in the top seven finalists in the year 2008 for ‘Pogo Amazing Kids Award’ in the singer category.

Tara received her recognition for her various stints on the television.

In 2010 she was a part of the television show Big Bada Boom, in 2011, she was seen in Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, in 2012, she was in Best of Luck Nikki  in a cameo role as Nina/Tina.  Later it was the Suite life of Karan & Kabir in which she essays the role of Vinnie (Vinita Mishra) . Followed by Oye Jassi wherein she is Jaspreet or Jassie Singh.  In 2013 in Shake It Up in a cameo role.
