During her pregnancy she learnt maps and designs using Autocad . Twinkle Khanna did the interiors of Rani Mukerji, Reema Sen, Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan's homes and Poonam Bajaj’s studio. In October 1999 along with Juhi Chawla, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan she performed at Awesome Foursome Concert held at Shah Alam Outdoor Stadium Malaysia. In 1996, Twinkle Khanna campaigned for her father’s election in New Delhi , Lok Sabha Constituency . In 2000 she was a part of the judges panel at Femina Miss India. She made her theatre debut as the female lead in Feroze Khan’s All the Best in February 2001. Twinkle Khann has also endorsed for and designed Supertech’s ORB Project in Noida and another residential project in Pune, for which she has filed a case against Supertech for failing to pay Rs. 1.04 crore as the endorsement fees. She also mentors the International Institute of Fashion Designing’s Academy of Interiors. She is the brand ambassador for the watch brand Movado and endorsed Coca-Cola and Micromax Mobile. In 2014 Twinkle Khanna and her sold their father’s house for Rs. 85 crore. Twinkle Khann is a popular columnist at Daily News and Analysis after hours and the Times of India. Penguin Random house have announced and released Twinkle Khann’s book Mrs. Funnybones, which hit the Nielsen Best seller list at Number 2 in its first week of sales. Launched on 18th August the book has already reached the number one position on the Best Seller’s chart of Crossword’s Kemps Corner store and has been receiving praises from readers and press.
