The movie is a contemporary and loose adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Set, in Mumbai, Ghalib, played by Rajat Kapoor, owns a shop that sells aphrodisiacs to people. His business isn’t running very smooth and he is trying several ways to increase his sale. Meanwhile, his own married life ironically, is down in the dumps. He is highly suspicious of his wife Roshni, played by Tisca Chopra and her whereabouts, thus ends up following her everywhere much to her irritation.
Ghalib’s mother seeing the couple’s frustration and hostility gives him a magic love portion called ‘Josh-e-jawaani’ to drink that will make the person drinking it fall in love with whoever he sees first. Meanwhiel, Neil, played by Purab Kohli and Mini, Koel Puri are the best of friends. Neil loves his to-be-soon wife Shweta, played by Tara Sharma, but Shweta has her eyes on Peter, played by Neil Bhoopalam who ignores her advances as he thinks it’s wrong in the eyes of God. Thus begins a hilarious and emotional journey of all the couples.
The movie is written and directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Sunil Joshi. The music is composed by Sagar Desai and cinematography by Neeraj Sahay.
