The film is based on the events that happened in the year 1931. Bhagat Singh, and his friends Rajguru, Sukhdev and Chandrashekhar Azad have only freedom for their motherland India on their mind and will do anything to achieve their goal. When they learn the fact that their mentor and leader Lala Lajpatrai is brutally beaten to death by the British cops, they seek nothing but revenge. They plot to kill the British officials responsible for his death. Thus they hatch a clever plan and execute it, killing one of the cruel officials. They are eventually arrested and held in prison.
When Bhagat Singh’s mother goes to visit him in jail she is shocked to see the level of brutality and torture her son has to endure. He is however not remorseful about what he did and declares that India will continue to suffer even after the British leave. But he will be back one day taking rebirth and save his country. The British sentence all the four men to death and they accept it happily without any complains.
The movie is directed by Guddu Dhanoa and produced by Dharmendra. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand. The star cast includes Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Amrita Singh, Rahul Dev, Suresh Oberoi, Shakti Kapoor, Divya Dutta and Aishwarya Rai.
