706 is a paranormal film that is more to do with the black magic or reincarnation if one can believe these stories it’s a gripping film till the end.
When a well-known Doctor Ashtana (Mohan Agashe) who disappears and goes missing for over 11 days and the Cops are unable to trace his whereabouts. The story unfolds to the mystery when a 10-year-old child (Yashvit Sancheti) is admitted in as a patient for psychiatrist disorder at the hospital owned by the doctor and his young wife Dr. Suman Ashtana (Divya Dutta). The child seems to know much more than what he is being treated for. He is able to lead to Dr. Asthana missing, leading the cops to the place where he is already dead. It’s not at all a convincing film and the black magic, eternal love, or the paranormal elements are all jumbled up together to create this film, directed by Shravan Kumar. The film is very slow, with Atul Kulkarni also involved in another murder case which the child reveals. Veteran actors like Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta have not much to offer in the film for the kind of caliber they have portrayed in other films with their strong character roles.
Unfortunately, no logic in the story with two murders in two different cities in different times and the child who is supposed to be a catalyst to the entire story is clueless as the child star. A film that is okay to watch without much to hope for and not exactly a horror film that you want to watch till the end !!
