Govind, played by Suniel Shetty is an honest and dedicated police inspector. He hails from a small village in Punjab. Out of the goodness of his heart, Govind marries Pushpa, his mentor’s daughter, even though he is in love with Sudha, played by Sushmita Sen. Pushpa is pregnant with a corrupt police officer’s child and to save her dignity, Govind decides to marry her. Pushpa however holds a grudge against Sudha, and tries to throw her out of the village with her brother Laxman’s help. Laxman finds out about his sister’s behavior and poisons her. After her death, Govind moves to Mumbai, where he meets Gitika, played by Namrata Shirodkar and falls in love with her.

 

Soon Govind is deceived and a land mafia seriously injures him as well as his sister is raped. Govind swears revenge and goes against the entire neighborhood who saw what happened to his sister. All the people realize their mistake and take Govind’s side and attack the goons. Govind’s sister then marries a family friend’s son, while he himself marries his love Sudha.

 

The movie is directed by Yogesh Ishwar and is produced by D Rama Naidu. The music is composed by Anu Malik. The story is written by Posani Krishna Murali. The cinematography is by Shyam K Naidu and the choreography is by Chinni Prakash and Ganesh Acharya.
