Ram Yadav lives a comfortable life with his two younger brothers in Bihar. He exploits the villagers by lending money at high interest rates and then manipulating the amounts. The villagers have thus started hating Ram Yadav. A 10 year old boy named Tetra also ends up hating Ram Yadav. Tetra has the job of fanning the school to keep it cool. The boy is smart and has a photographic memory and thus finds it easy to learn things. The school teacher Jatin then begins to teach Tetra, who starts to see himself as the modern day Robin Hood. Ram is unhappy with his progress and expels Jatin so Tetra cant learn any more. However the little boy finds a way to get knowledge.
The film is written, directed and produced by Tapan Sinha. The cinematography is by Kamal Nayak. The star cast includes Ritesh Talwar, Utpal Dutt, Nana Patekar and Robi Ghosh.
