Professor Prabhat Kumar is a simple middle class man living with his widowed mother and sister. He gets increasingly restless about the level of crime in the city and the goons freely doing whatever they like. One day one of his fellow professor’s sister-in-law Sudha is abducted, molested and killed brutally. The culprit Suresh Thakur is arrested and tried in court but he gives a false alibi that he was out of town when the incident and based on that he goes scot-free. Prabhat is disappointed with the law and system and forms his own vigilante group to control crime. This does not go down well with some powerful mafias. The film is directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and produced by T Kranthikumar. The music is composed by Ravi. The star cast includes Raj Babbar, Vijay Arora, Smita Patil, Rohni Chauhan, Dheeraj Kumar, Shafi Inamdar, Nana Patekar and Om Shivpuri
