Ram and Prashant are brothers who live a comfortable and extravagant life in Calcutta. Ram befriends an orphan named Laxman as a child and asks him to stay with them. When they grow up, Laxman becomes a brave and courageous police officer. Seeing his dedication and hard work, the police commissioner assigns him the important job of nabbing the notorious underworld gang leader Cobra. Laxman is sadly killed during the ensuing fight and Ram is devastated. He later comes to know a shocking truth that his own brother Prashant might be non other than Cobra and begins a journey to uncover the ugly truth.
The film is directed and produced by Ashim S Samanta. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the cinematography is by Alok Dasgupta. The choreography is by P L Raaj. The star cast includes Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda, Moushumi Chatterjee, Kunal Goswami and Sadashiv Amrapurkar.
