Star of Asia is a cargo ship carrying goods worth Rs 6 Crores. This includes precious diamonds and gold. The ship however sinks due to cyclone and the goods are at rick of being lost in the sea forever. Thus the Interpol assigns the risky and challenging job to their best agent HimadriChoudhary to salvage the goods and bring them back. Meanwhile he is asked to travel to Tokyo, where an employee named Marikawa from the Indian Embassy has been trained to seduce Himadri and then kill him in cold blood and flee with the loot.
The film is directed by Mangal Chakravarty and produced by Vishaldeep International. The music is composed by Salil Chowdhury and the story is written by Raj Kumar Moitra. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty,Salil Choudhary, Yogitabali, Prem Chopra,Tom Alter,Shiva and Jayashree T.
