Anjali Devi is a wealthy woman living alone in her huge mansion. Since her only son married out of their wishes, he was thrown out by her dying husband. Sadly he and his wife dies leaving their son Raja behind. He one day comes to visit her but she is cold and indifferent to him. She makes him stay out her mansion in a tent. Soon Raja wins over his grandmother and lives with her. Raja then falls in love with a local village girl names Chhaya. When Anjali Devi comes to know that her grandson will marry a poor girl, she is furious and has her thrown out. They however decide to marry against her wishes. Meanwhile Anjali devi is kidnapped by her manager SampatRai who wants her wealth. Soon she is freed by Raja and Chhaya’s brother Shankar, and they all unite.
The film is directed by Ravindra Peepat and produced by Gautam Bokadia. The music is composed by Adesh Shrivastava and lyrics are written by Shyam Raj and KavitaKiran. The screenplay is written by B R Ishara. The star cast includes Saif Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Mukesh Khanna,Tiku Talsania,Rakesh Bedi,Gulshan Grover,Prem Chopra, Bharti,Himani Shivpuri and Somy Ali.
