Varsha Oberoi loses her parents at a young age and is brought up by her uncle Jain. She travels extensively and lives a comfortable life. She then meets and falls in love with Vijay who runs a small furniture store. His store is heavily in debt and his business isn’t doing too well either. One day Vijay runs into his old friend Vikram and is overjoyed to reunite with him. Things turn around in Vijay’s business as he starts getting many orders and his business becomes prosperous in no time. He then owns a big house and a car. Things however take a drastic turn in Vijay’s personal life when he comes to know that Varsha is getting married to Vikram. When he confronts her she tells him that she prefers marrying someone rich and successful. A heartbroken Vijay cannot come to terms with the deceit from the love of his life. The film is directed by Ambrish Sangal and is produced by Mohan Kumar. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The star cast includes Ranjeeta, Raj Babbar, Deepak Parashar, Madan Puri, Om Shivpuri, Tamanna, Kalpana Lyer and Dulari.
