After becoming a widow, Mrs. Sinha moves to Delhi with her son Vinod and daughter Kajal. Vinod now handles his father’s business while his mom indulges in playing cards with her friends regularly. Vinod wants Kajal to marry his friend Shyam but she refuses and confesses that she is in love with a local florist named Anand. Vinod and his mother aren’t happy with this and meet Anand. Vinod challenges Anand that as a test of
his true love for Kajal, he will have to stay a few months away from her and not communicate to her. He agrees and leaves. One day however things take an unexpected turn when Kajal and her mom read in the newspapers that Anand has been fired from his job and relocated to an unknown place. He is now been investigated by the cops for molesting a girl during holi. A few months later, Anand re-appears and has become a rich man, but calls himself Ashok. The film is directed by Harmesh Malhotra and produced by Salim Akhtar. The music is composed by Anu Malik. The star cast includes Raj Babbar, Poonam Dhillon, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Bharat Kapoor and Kalpana Iyer.
