Verma is a wealthy industrialist and a widower. He married Duradevi so his son Ravi can have a mother again. Durgadevi herself gives birth to another child named Kiran. Subsequently Verma passes away and she enters politics are becomes the party president. She is now power hungry and a conniving politician who has no limits. Ravi one day tells his mother that he is in love with a typist named Usha and wants to marry her. Durgadevi is furious as she is from a poor family but eventually agrees. The wedding takes place with great celebration and in a grand way. Kiran later tells his mom that he had an affair with Usha before she married Ravi. This doesn’t go well with Durgadevi and she decides to deal with Usha herself. When Ravi is away on work abroad, she decides to get rid of Usha once and for all.
The film is directed by Mehul Kumar and produced by Jatti K Varma. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by Payam Sayeedi. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Madhuri Dixit, Deepak Tijori,Suresh Oberoi,Kiran Kumar,Prem Chopra,Anupam Kher,Johny Lever, Archana Puran Singh, Bindu and Aruna Irani.
