Avinash and Baba are brothers living a poor lifestyle with their widowed mother. The close knit family is ready to go to any lengths to protect each other. One day some goons come to their house and attack their mother. In rage Baba along with Nawab, kills him brutally. They then hide taking shelter with a mafia don named Uncle. Baba wants his younger brother Avinash to study and be a better man. He thus decides the only way to pay for his education is joining the crime world and that’s what he does. Avinash joins the police force and his first assignment is to arrest Nawaband Baba for their crimes. He is shocked that his brother and his friend will be associated with a criminal background. He has to now either follow orders or resign from the post of an officer.
The film is directed by Sanjay Gupta, and produced by G P Sippy. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan. The cinematography is by Najeeb Khan and the choreography is by Farah Khan. The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt,Aditya Pancholi,Atul Agnihotri, Karishma Kapoor,Raveena Tandon, Kader Khan,Shakti Kapoor,Ajit,Gulshan Grover,Dinesh Hingoo,Ghanshyam,Vishwajeet Pradhan and Tanuja.
