Vishnu, played by Prabhu Deva, quits his job at Jehangir Dance academy due to his boss Jehangir Khan’s, Kay Kay Menon’s abuse and wrongful power use. HE sees a bunch of boys running away from the police and gauges their potential after he sees them dancing at the Ganpati festival event. He decides to start his own dance studio and teach them for free and compete against his former boss Jehangir. At first they are reluctant but later join in.

Vishu manages to form a team of Chandu, a drug addict, Shaina a bar dancer and Rhea an international dancer who used to work with Jehangir earlier until he sexually assaulted her. The two groups in Vishnu’s team however, are at loggerheads and he loses his cool at their behavior. After multiple attempts and efforts by Vishnus and the main dancers, the two teams finally dance as one come together to practice in unity.

One the day of the semi-finals, tragedy strikes the group as Chandu, dies in a horrific car accident. The team is devastated and left with no choice but to practice without him. They all cremate his body and proceed to the finals. Ultimately the group wins after performing on a song based on Lord Ganesha with a thunderous applaud from the audience and the rival teams.

The movie is directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala. The music is composed by Sanchin-Jigar.
