Khaleel is a ruthless man who has been terrorizing a city for years. No one dares to go against him. Sheikh Mohammed is a honest man of honor and is told by the government that Khaleel needs to be brought to justice. Mohammed also has a personal agenda in this since his wife Zainab was injured by Khaleel. A old man named Abdulla lives in the midst of the desert and guards a well that provides water to passing thirsty
travellers. He comes to know through his friend Ammer that Khaleel has rampaged through a home close by and a pregnant woman named Yashoda is the only survivor. Yashoda comes to Abdulla for help and gives birth to a boy named Krishna. She asks him to take care of him and passes away. Meanwhile Khaleel gets a message from his astrologer that his death will be brought upon by a man named Krishna. He now sets out to kill Krishna. The film is directed and produced by Sanjay Khan. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Raj Kapoor, Sanjay Khan, Zeenat Aman, Farida Jalal, Helen, Danny Denzongpa, Madan Puri, Om Prakash, Kader Khan, Dheeraj Kumar, Nazir Hussain, Anand Balraj, Hari Shivdasani and
Sanjeev Kumar.
