Based on the Chittisinghpura massacre that took place in March 2000, where 37 Sikhs were killed by Islamic terrorists who praised Pakistan despite being Indian and living in India. This story is mainly about two brothers who belong to the Sikh community namely; Kuldeep, played by Rahul Dev and Jaideep, played by Rocky Khanna. Kuldeep and Jaideep’s parents were among the ones killed in the massacre and migrate to Mumbai. They want to avenge their parent’s murder.
Meanwhile, The film shows the extremist views of various groups in the country like the Hindu Nationalists and the Islamic Fundamentalists, that are very often pitted against each other. There are many people who aren’t very patriotic and justify Pakistanis despite being living in India.
The movie is directed by Adeep Singh and produced by Suhas Panchal and Malik Maredia. The star cast includes Sonali Kulkarni, Anupam Kher, Sayaji Shinde, Nowaz, Namrata Shirodkar. The music is composed by Rajendra Shiv and the singers include Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sonu Nigam, Mohit Chauhan and Naeem Shameen Ajmeri.
