Kumar is the owner of the Ranima tea estate. He faces many problems because of the anarchy created by Mangal Singh, the local dacoit. Mangal has a considerable effect upon the laborers and has the administration in his pocket. To run his business Kumar summons Pradip, a relative of his friend Sanjib. Being a boxer and an athlete Pradip does not know what fear is, and he takes up the challenge to combat Mangal. Mangal tortures a young girl, Sundari, and tries to kill her. Pradip comes forward to support her, kicking off his rivalry with Mangal. This reaches new heights as Kumar's daughter Anjana returns from England. Mangal tries to harm her in a number of ways but every time Pradip saves her in time. In this process, Anjana, in spite of being engaged to Subha, develops feelings for Pradip. In the end, Pradip defeats Mangal to unite with Anjana.
