Ankur Khanna has just got his results from school and is disheartened to know his percentage isn’t very high thus there are chances he will not get into the prestigious college of Pune and he is right he doesn’t, but neither do his friends. Feeling dejected and sad they decide to ditch the traditional college system and open an institute of their own that will be cool and relaxed and easy to get admission into for students who have lesser percentages like them.
They name the institute SPIRIT (South Pune Institute of Research and Information Technology). They don’t have regular lecturers and subjects like other colleges. IN fact their subjects include; music, cooking, seduction, bhaigiri and so forth. The students can tutor themselves if they wish. There is no discipline and no rules to follow. All are free to do what they want, how they want and whenever they want.
The movie is directed by K D Satyam and produced by Mohd Israr Ansari. The music is composed by Amit Trivedi. The star cast includes Anupam Kher, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ankur Khanna, Pramod Moutho, Sudesh Berry, Master Abhishek Sharma, Dushyant Raj Bhardwaj, Ravi Pandey, Rati Agnihotri and Arshi. The choreography is by Raju Khan and the cinematography is by Madhu Rao.
