Ankush, played by Abhay Deol works as a witness for marriages at a Delhi marriage bureau. He manages to make ends meet somehow with the merger job. Meanwhile he meets Megha, played by Soha Ali Khan who has also come to get married to her boyfriend Dheeraj, after running away from her home in Nainital. Unfortunately Dheeraj doesn’t show up. After waiting for hours, Megha realizes he has ditched her. Dejected and depressed Megha now has no purpose in life. That’s when Ankush comes to her aid and gets her a job at an old age home.
Soon Megha realizes that she is much more than just a girlfriend to her ex and can do better with her life as an educated girl. Ankush who has taken a loan to help Megha is forced to get another job at a bank and earns well. Megha is astounded that he can do so much for a girl he barely knows. They both start falling in love. Just when the two were getting their love story on the road, Dheeraj shows up and tells Megha how he was stuck up in a situation where he could make it on time for the marriage. Megha understands and decides to marry him, and Ankush is the witness.
The movie is directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Anjum Rizvi. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Abhishek Ray. The cinematography is by Prakash Kutty.
