‘Ajantey’ is the story of a basic blameless man Ravi who falls in cherish with Usha not knowing that she is the exceptionally young lady whose marriage he is attempting to finalize with a tall society fellow Rudraksh. After Ravi’s father’s passing his senior brother usurps everything giving him a handful of rooms in servants’ quarter and 1 lakh rupees that his father had given as advance to Mr. Natu. Mr. Natu may be a clever man who keeps deferring Ravi. He finally guarantees to allow him the money in case Ravi can get Jhilik hitched to Rudraksh. Rudraksh may be a man full of indecencies however Ravi does his best to finalize the wedding. Ravi meets Usha aka Jhilik and falls in cherish with her. Ravi finds out the truth that Usha is Jhilik the day Rudrasksh goes to wed her. Usha condemns Ravi for his weakness which makes him oppose everything and wed her. Rudraksh and his family are captured for claiming endowment.
