Alavuddin, the rightful heir of the Magic Lamp, gains access to it and, with the aid of the genie, instantly becomes wealthy. Princess Roshni is the heir to the kingdom, but Kamaruddin, the head of Baghdad's armed forces, has his eyes on her because her husband would be in charge of the country following the death of the Caliph. Alavuddin, though, is a street child who shares Roshni's love. Jameela, Alavuddin's childhood friend, also has feelings for him, but they are mutually exclusive. Alavuddin and Kamaruddin engage in combat in an effort to gain Roshni. Alavuddin succeeds, but his happiness is fleeting for the courtier Mir Qasim kidnaps Roshni and takes her away since he wants her for himself.
