Raja, played by Govinda works as a waiter in a big hotel. One day a wealthy client K.K comes to the hotel, who Raja serves and is impressed with him. He then gives Raja money to marry the girl he falls in love with. Raja meanwhile is on the lookout for a rich girl, whose wealth he thinks he can inherit and enjoy. Thus one day he sees Sapna and assumes that he she rich and tries to win her love. Similarly Sapna is under the impression that Raja is the rich tycoon she has been dreaming of. In reality she has been dreaming of Rahul, who is a look-a-like of Raja and is rich, unlike Raja.
Meanwhile Raja takes Rahul’s place and also woos his lady love Sona. Things become all the more complicated and chaotic when Raja and Rahul are mistaken for eachother and find it hard to go back to their normal lives. The movie is written and directed by Kuku Kohli and produced by Aruna Irani. The star cast includes Govinda, Raveena Tandon, Simran, Kader Khan, Satish Shah, Satyen Kappu, Prem Chopra, Dilip Sen, Johnny Lever and Himani Shivpuri.
