“Andhagan” is a Tamil black comedy crime thriller film directed by Thiagarajan and produced by Staar Movies. The film, starring Prashanth, Simran, and Priya Anand, is a remake of Andhadhun (2018) and is about a blind pianist who inadvertently becomes involved in a murder.

Krishna "Krish," a pianist in Puducherry, fakes blindness to enhance his musical skills. One day, he is hit by Julie's car, and she takes him home. Impressed by his talent, she falls for him. Krish later meets retired actor “Karthick”, who invites him to play at his anniversary celebration. At Karthick's residence, his wife Simi opens the door for Krish. Playing the piano, he secretly sees Karthick's dead body and his wife's lover, “Manohar”, taking cover in the bathroom. Not being able to respond, he keeps playing, acting blind. Simi and Manohar dispose of the crime scene, believing that Krish did not see anything.

Krish attempts to report the crime but stops after learning Manohar is a cop. When neighbor D’Susa reveals she saw someone at Karthick’s flat, Simi kills her. Krish unknowingly witnesses the murder but keeps his act. Later, Simi visits Krish’s house, tricks him into drinking poisoned coffee, and blinds him for real.

Meanwhile, Krish’s neighbor’s son records proof of his sight and shows it to Julie, who misunderstands and leaves him. Captured by an organ trafficking gang, Krish convinces doctor Sami that Simi’s rare blood type is valuable. They kidnap her, but betrayal leads to chaos. Simi runs away and attacks Krish, but Sami intervenes. They fight for a while, overpower her, and drive off intending to use her organs to gain Krish his eyesight.

Two years have passed and Julie finds Krish in London. He confesses Simi perished in an accident but does not say whether or not he can see again. “Andhagan” fared well in reviews, earning praise from critics for Prashanth's acting and its suspenseful plot.
