The story of this movie highlights the loving and sometimes difficult relationship between a mother and daughter. Pinky is a young and vivacious college going girl. She somehow gets into bad company and is addicted to bad habits. One night she comes back to her girls hostel severely drunk and creates a ruckus, disturbing everyone around. The dean has had enough and decides to rusticate her. Her mother is at her wits end and tries all possible tactics to turn her life around but in vain. She then takes the help of a young man named Anil to get Pinky’s life back on track but things get even more ugly and causes a lot more damage then imagined.
The film is directed by Hariharan and produced by Ramesh Twari. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Shafi Inamdar, Parijat, Hema Malini, Rajan Sippy and Shashi Kapoor
