Rajesh Bauji, played by Sanjay Mishra is an elderly man in his late 50’s and lives quite a frantic life in Old Delhi. He lives with his extended family. His daughter has fallen in love with the wrong boy whose reputation is said to be not good. The family learns of her affair and decides to keep her away from him in her room and tackle him.
When Bauji actually meets the boy his daughter loves he realizes that he is a nice boy. This changes everything for him. He decides he will not have preconceived notions or believe anything unless he sees it for himself ‘Ankhon Dekhi’. He thus begins his journey on believing things he has seen and not believing things he hasn’t. For eg while working as a travel agent he refuses to book a ticket to Amsterdam because he hasn’t seen it, or he stops worshipping god and eats the Prasad like another sweet.
This become very confusing for people around him and they think he has just lost his mind or turned into a lunatic. But eventually lot of people start seeing his logic in things and reasoning with him, thus following in his footsteps. He then lets his daughter marry the boy she loves and takes his wife on a vacation, having gathered enough clarity in life.
