Dr. Romesh, played by Arjun Mathur is a ambitious and hard working medical intern who wants to realize his dreams of becoming a successful doctor one day. Romesh idolizes Dr. Asthana, played by Kay Kay Menon, who is the chief surgeon at the Shekhawat General Hospital. He is very inspired by Dr. Ashthana’s style of working and wants to be just like him. Romesh lives with his girlfriend and co-intern Dr. Riya, played by Vishakha Singh.
A strange incident happens in the hospital that shakes the medical world to the core. An 8 year old boy named Ankur Arora, dies due to Dr. Asthana’s supposed medical negligence. It’s hard to believe that a doctor of his caliber could make a mistake of this magnitude. Dr. Romesh is disturbed on hearing this and upset that because he looks up to Asthana. Ankur’s mother Nandita, played by Tisca Chopra and lawyer Kajori, played by Paoli Dam along with Romesh begin a journey to search the truth and bring justice to Ankur.
Dr. Riya who is present during Ankur’s operation fears of losing her job and ruining her career. Nurse Rosina who was also present, informs Dr. Asthana about Ankur having consumed food before the operation but that fact is ignored and they lie in court. All other evidence against the Doctor is destroyed too. Later in a twist of fate, Riya records Dr. Asthana’s confession on her mobile which leads to his subsequent arrest.
The movie is directed by Suhail Tatari and produced by Vikram Bhatt. The music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt.
