Shyamlal and Annapurna have a mutual respect and understanding for each other. They live a peaceful life until his step mother is gravely ill. Before she passes away Annapurna promises her that she will take care of Shyamlal’s younger brother Ram like her own son and she does. Meanwhile Annapurna gives birth to her own son but yet she loves Ram just as much. Things take a drastic turn when Annapurna’s mother comes to live with the couple. She dislikes Ram and wants her daughter to hate him too. The film is directed by Mehul Kumar and produced by Ratan Kumar. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The dialogue and screenplay is written by Bharat Dave.
