Jay Singh is brought up in a middle class household with his parents. They live a comfortable and happy life until his dad one day gets brutally killed. His mother tries to get justice but is denied the same. Meanwhile Jay falls in love with editor Aadesh’s daughter Seema and they both get engaged. Jay now harbors the ambition of joining the police force and joins the services. In a strange turn of events, Aadesh gets killed and the blame is put on Jay. He is arrested and beaten in the lockup. He is then released but later arrested once again after he man handles a senior cop. Jay, Seema and his mother go places to get justice for Aadesh’s murder but come back empty handed.
Seema and Jay then get married and find that her house has been taken over a mafia boss named Lala. Lala wants to demolish the house and build a hotel in its place. The more they get into the system to find justice, the more they are convinced that the system is corrupt. The film is directed by SukhwantDhada and produced by G S Sagoo. The music is composed by Raam Laxman. The screenplay is by Phani Majumdar. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Neelam, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tanuja, Mahavir Shah, Alok Nath and Bharat Kapoor.
