Apne Huye Paraye is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Ajit Chakraborty. The Story revolves around the life of Rekha (played by Mala Sinha)- A Kind-Hearted girl living with her Mother and Adopted Sister Lata (played by Shashikala)- the daughter of her Mother's Friend- who died in an accident. Shankar (played by Manoj Kumar)- A Kind-Boy living with his parents and childhood friend of Rekha moves to another city. Years later- Shankar becomes Doctor and moves again to his Home and Rekha instantly fell in love with him. Lata felt jealous and wanted to marry him and posed as having an affair with him, leading to their marriage and Rekah felt heartbreak.
